Biography
Christos Cassianos was born in
Nicosia in September 1948. He had his primary and
secondary education in Cyprus and subsequently
studied Food Technology in the UK where he lived up
to his return to Cyprus in 2001.
He had a long and varied career in
the food and drink industry in the UK in a technical
capacity and later became a freelance technical
author with a book on food safety, which has been
published in four languages, to his credit.
He painted watercolours for a
number of years in the UK and after his return to
Cyprus he decided to try a different medium. He
studied the art of mosaic with Thea Heinig-Lazarou in
Limassol and has been working in this form of art
since early 2004 always looking for new ideas and new
challenges.
